Return & Refund Policy
At Cafe Aigoh, the coffee and food products we sell are perishable consumables. For food-safety and quality reasons, this policy differs from a standard retail returns policy. Nothing in it limits the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Change of mind
Because our products are perishable food, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind — for example, if you ordered the wrong product, no longer want it, found it cheaper elsewhere, or simply didn't enjoy it. Please choose carefully when ordering.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund if a product:
- arrives spoiled, stale, contaminated, or otherwise not of acceptable quality;
- arrives with damaged or compromised packaging that affects the contents;
- is the wrong item, or is significantly different from how it was described; or
- is unsafe or unfit to consume.
If the problem is major, you may choose between a refund or a replacement. If the problem is minor, we will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate. A refund is for the full amount you paid, returned to your original payment method.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is spoiled, damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible — and within 7 days of delivery — at cafeaigoh@gmail.com. Please include your order number and photos of the product and its packaging so we can assess and resolve the issue quickly.
You do not need the original packaging to make a faulty-product claim, but please keep your proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt).
How returns work
Contact us first at cafeaigoh@gmail.com before sending anything back. If we confirm the problem, we will let you know whether a return is needed and, if so, cover the reasonable cost of return, then arrange your refund or replacement. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return cannot be accepted.

Non-returnable items
For health and hygiene reasons we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on food, perishable goods, or opened or used products. We also cannot accept returns on gift cards. None of this affects your consumer guarantee rights described above.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your claim, we will let you know whether it is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may need additional time to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you have not received your refund, please contact us at cafeaigoh@gmail.com.
